""American author Dan Brown's novel "Angels & Demons," published in 2000 was the first to feature symbologist Robert Langdon. And with that, director Ron Howard did an excellent job in positioning the film adaptation as the sequel to "The Da Vinci Code" with additional tweaking to the beginning of the film. Audiences will once again be astounded and thrilled by the rich Roman history embedded in the story and the clues that lead them to uncover the inevitable truth.
Showcasing many of the prominent tourist landmarks, it serves as a great tourism promo video that would entice many around the world to go pay a visit to Rome. But be aware that certain locations in the movie are replicates shot in Los Angeles. This time around, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (Hanks) jets off to Rome after the Pope's sudden death and the re-election through Papal Conclave. Four cardinals were kidnapped and an anti-matter time bomb is hidden within the Vatican City threatening to blow up the city. Using his intellects, Langdon is given the task of rescuing them and finding the anti-matter using the mysterious Path of Illumination.
As compared to "The Da Vinci Code" film, the pacing is faster giving you little time to breathe and absorb the intricate details. If you're not familiar with the book, you might get lost in translation with the many Biblical and scientific terms. But the excitement of piecing the clues together are indeed entertaining, as the race against time element to save Vatican City has Langdon constantly on the move.
It's been 3 years since we last saw Tom Hanks reprising his role as Langdon and this time looking better with his toned physique. The casts did a great performance including Scottish lad Ewan McGregor with his notable accent and devilish charms (pun intended). Shown in 2-D digital format, the film quality is much sharper, brighter and the colours more vivid than the 35mm file format, almost like a blu-ray movie.
When Langdon discovers evidence of the resurgence of an ancient secret brotherhood known as the Illuminati - the most powerful underground organization in history - he also faces a deadly threat to the existence of the secret organization's most despised enemy: the Catholic Church. When Langdon learns that the clock is ticking on an unstoppable Illuminati time bomb, he jets to Rome, where he joins forces with Vittoria Vetra, a beautiful and enigmatic Italian scientist. Embarking on a nonstop, action-packed hunt through sealed crypts, dangerous catacombs, deserted cathedrals, and even to the heart of the most secretive vault on earth, Langdon and Vetra will follow a 400-year-old trail of ancient symbols that mark the Vatican's only hope for survival.
When a murder of a physicist, Leonardo Vetra, finds a symbolist, Robert Langdon, and Mr. Vetra's daughter, Vittoria, on an adventure for a secret brotherhood, The Illuminati. Clues lead them all around the Vatican, including the four alters of science, Earth, Air, Fire and Water. An Assassin, working for the Illuminati, has captured four cardinals, and murders each, painfully. Robert and Vittoria also are searching for a new very destructive weapon that could kill millions.

Here show one of the 4 prefered cardinals to be next Pope..Here the assisinator hung the cardinal there and burn him alive..HE will screaming , tomhanks and policemen arrive..Assisanator waiting for them and shot them one by one ..Lardon escape..Cardinal got burn at stick..haha.
Lardon finally find enough clues to arrive at the Church of Illumanti..It is where the assinator and 4 cardinals were prisoned .
The red dude is the Cardinal tat is in charge of the new election for the new Pope..while the Starwar dude is the guy in church of the whole vatican while waiting for the election of the new pope.He was the personal priest for the pope...One of them is the badass..Guess who?
Only much much later the plot will enfold..plot within a plot.
One of the 4 cardinal were killed , they are killed one hour each until midnight where the assinator will explode the "anti matter" bomb..Hence Lardon and team must race against time following clues as where will be the next assinator location...The cardinal were burn with iron and lungs pierced like jesus i guess.
Lardon looking for clues thro a series of statue in a series of churches..In this movie, u will see many statues and many churches all around the vatican city..
All the cardinals of the world , gathered in the Vatican City to elect the New Pope..all lining up going into the room..will not come out until new pope is elected.
Lardon and the sexy scientist who in charge of the stolen "anti matter" bomb looked up at the sky , where the bomb will explode soon..Brighting the midnight sky into very beautifull..

This is movie is ok..very long but fast paced..and nice acting from the Tom hanks..and also Ewan
Using new technology the movie look more crispy and cinemagrapthy is totally on the vatican city..churches,statuques and even the libraries of the vatican..Finally twists here and there..Lookout !!..Enjoy all the procedures of the vaticans and churches.
