These incredible pictures of the Northern Lights are the stunning results of one brave woman's epic journey through frozen wastelands on a quest to capture the phenomenon in all its glory.
Travelling alone, German-born Kerstin Langenberger, 27, has snow-shoed and dog-sleighed her way up some of Scandinavia's most spectacular mountains to get the perfect picture.
Marching through the wilderness, Ms Langenberger escapes from the light pollution of Norway's cities to make sure the Aurora Borealis are clearly visible in the night sky.
Miss Langenberger has been running a solo mission across Scandinavia since 2003
