When a meteorite from outer space hits a young California woman named Susan Murphy and turns her into a giant monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag group of monsters also rounded up over the years. As a last resort, under the guidance of General W.R. Monger, on a desperate order from The President, the motley crew of Monsters is called into action to combat the aliens and save the world from imminent destruction!
Overlord alien Gaxaller is the evil villain alien who is looking for some stones tat contain some galaxy energy tat give its user superpower..Tat rock and power crash landed on planet earth right on our heroine Susan Murphy turning her to Ginanormous.
Later Gina was captured by the government under Colonel Monger(Kiefer Sutherland,24hours) to a secret hideout , they she befriend fellow inmates including Missing Link aka lizard+fishman(Will Arnett) ,BOB(Seth Rogen),Dr COckroach (hugh larrie,Dr House) and a skyscrapping as big as a building larvae called Insectaurus.
Together they answer to earth call for help when Gallaxar invaded planet earth to look for the stone power which was actually absorbed by Ginanormous. Initially Gallaxar sent an probe robot which is quite cute , which was destroyed by Ginanourmous . Before tat it is funny to see all the earth people and President try to first contact with the probe but later destroyed the welcome party.
This cause the President , under Colonal MOnger advise to use the monsters of planet earth against the alien.
This is very funny animation movie..Very nice..Recommended to see.
Reese Witherspoon voiced this Ginanormous character.Her voice is ok , little funny voice , but ok . Sound like teenager and suit the character i guess.
Here is Ginaourmous going back to visit her hometown with her new frens which are monsters also..Scaring the neighbourhood and destroying some properties like trees and cars.The welcoming was not good and Ginanormous feel upset and depressed.Because , her fiancee also run away.
Dr Cockcroach and BOB , 2 hero also..One is super interlligent , while BOB is undestruable but stupid..BOB is like gelly substance. Dr Cockcroach was once a human , but got transformed into a cockcroach during one of his own experiment trying to combine human with animal strength. BOB is fluk experiment in some food factory.
This is the alien badass, Gallaxar voice by Raiin Wilson , Ego maniac and badass, first sending the huge probe robot which destroyed by GIna and gang , causing him to visit and invade earth by himself..His army is actually a clones of himself.He look like octopus..
Ginanormous is running away from the Probe robot sent by Gallaxar, Gina has not realize yet her true power as a giant ..After awhile she slowly realize her power and destroy the robot. Robot and Gina went thro the city and destroy everything they touch..Nice scenes here.
This is the control room in the Pentagon , where the President of Earth and his advisor disc all the funny solutions , very funny dialoque here and very stupid president.
This cute robot is a tall and big as buildings , initially sent by Gallaxar to planet earth to find the stone powers. The President and its men try to made first contact and offer peace to the robot , which the robot decline and went rampage destroying cities.
This scene is in the top secret monster facility , it is the canteen where the monster gather together to have meals..notice the tables and chairs bOB eat anything , so does cockroach , while missing link the lizard man eat fishes or seafood.Funny scenes here , where monsters introduce themselves to shocking Ginanourmous first time.
Show at church wedding of Gina, marrying his husband to be a reporter , however , during the wedding process , Gina get bigger and bigger , tearing her tiny wedding clothes and growth upto the church roof sending everyone screaming away.
The monster crew arriving at Gina house and hometown , shocking everyone , and GIna got upset and depressing when her family reject her and her husband has married another person.
This Colonel Monger , the person in charge of the monster facility . He is macho straighforward guy...Usually move around in the enormous facility in his floating device as shown.

Will Arnett plays the voice of Missing Link aka Lizard fish man.Missing Link is macho and always ready to fight anyone and everything.Good with girls.However little clumsy..Funny character.
Colonal Monger and President Earth talking to each other while the Colonal trying to convince the President to use the monster to defend earth and destroy the Probe Robot.
The PResident is sometime stupid.Very funny scenes here..Notice they are 2 button tat look very same..One is to shot nuclear warheads while the other is to refill coffee.
Gina romantic scene with her soon to be husband.Husband is famous reporter and aims to hit it big..Really selfish guy , but Gina full of love ignore tat and want to marry him.
HEre Gina finally realize her power and strength and when to destroy the Probe robot , tearing the robot into pieces..Very nice and funny scenes..Seeing Gina struggling with the huge robot and same time discovering her strength..
Gina loss her power here , because Gallaxy have machine to absorb all the power and then pass it to himself..He is stronger than Gina and start to terroze her.
Gina is still strong and fill with the stone power , hence Gallaxy the badass , inprisoner her in this force field prison..Later will use a machine to extract the power and give back to himself.
Gina after defeating the robot probe walk back to her house and hometown with the other monster..Very nice to see , nice animation.
